The Information Technology Department is in charge of the participants’ registration service within the organization of the ‘Foro Nacional: Participacion Ciudadana en el Proyecto de Nacion,’ -National Forum: Civic Participation in Nation’s Proyect, in English- promoted by the UANL.
The service is provided through a Pre-registration System that was developed in the Web Services Area and which access is on the Website of the Reflection Center for the Creation of Alternatives (CREA, Spanish abbreviation,) the event’s organizer. The system developed by the DGI can also create electronic certifications which link is sent via e-mail to the audience so they can download them.
Then, the DGI -through Javier Quiroga- gives support with the Registration System to take attendance in the day of the debates; also with the borrowing of communications equipment, the assembling of local network, and with the on-line transmission.
In the same way, the configuration of local Network and Working Parties has been carried out by Salvador Perez, and the sending of massive e-mails by Alma Lopez. Graciela Flores and Rosa Cavazos were in charge of the service coordination.
Juan Antonio Castilleja, Joaquin Huante, Noel Hortiales and Tomas Rodriguez are the deputy directors of the areas that participated in the mentioned activities.
The UANL is carrying out the National Forum within the bicentennial of Independence and the centennial of the Revolution. This project has the aim of promoting the reflection on the nation’s project that Mexico wants to develop.
From September 1st, 2010 to June 1st, 2011, a series of public debates will be carried out; they will have the participation of prestigious specialists from different areas and cultural and political visions in order to analyze the national problems, looking for the implementation of a new and democratic national project.
