For first time in the history of the agreement signed by the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon and Microsoft, both organizations are carrying out an exhibition at the Ciudad Universitaria Campus.
The event was carried out from November 14th to 16th, 2011 and there was an equipped booth with game consoles, laptops and mobile phones in which thousands UANL students interacted with devices developed by Microsoft.
‘Mzone. Play, study, whatever’ was the name of the booth established at the Leading Academic Institution Rectorate building on said days from 9 am to 5 pm.
“It is a work that has been being performed in work team. Some months ago we were planning to bring this technological sample,” said Ing. Noel Hortiales, DGI Computing and Software Deputy Director.
On the other hand, Ing. Elizabeth Velazquez, DGI Academic Projects and Quality Coordinator, said it is planned to carry out this type of events for next year but at the UANL Medical Area, Mederos Campus.
In an activity carried out at the same time of the exhibition, the DGI developed a survey to know the interests of students’ community.
We have to mention that the most liked device was Windows Phone.
