
With the purpose of carrying out the starting session of Kaizen project, the School of Civil Engineering (FIC, Spanish abbreviation) and the Department of Information Technology (DGI, Spanish abbreviation) had a meeting of implementation in the FIC facilities on May 12th, 2011.
The objective of the meeting was to inform the FIC directors about the official beginning of the project as well as showing the activities calendar to future users of the system.
During the event several agreements were established by the DGI, such as generating the website for the academic building, www.kaizen.uanl.mx/FIC as well as creating e-mail accounts @uanl.mx for the guide team of the institution. Likewise, the DGI committed itself to carry out the training of the Outlook program.
All this is combined with Kaizen system trainings, which are focused on Documents Controller (Kaizen Manager), Auditors, Direction Representative, Improvement Responsible and Processes Owners.
The event was attended by Ing. Alejandro Aguilar Meraz from the Secretary General, Department of Quality Management; Lic. Cecilia Vargas Cordero as the Project Manager in representation of DGI Director, Ing. Alberto Zambrano; Lic. Abel Castro Garcia, Project Leader, and Cindy Lilibeth Rodriguez Arguello, Project Manager Assistant.
The event was also attended by C.P. Carlos Javier Arizpe Cantu, Kaizen system Manager at the FIC and by the FIC Vice Principal, Dr. Pedro L.Valdez Tamez from the School of Civil Engineering.
The guide team of the project composed by Ing. Fernando Ramos Perez, Ing. Irma Moreno Alvarez, Lic. Brenda Leticia Villegas, Ing. Oscar Manuel Robles Sanchez, Veronica Sandoval and Ing. Mizael Izaguirre Cruz were with Direction representatives in the meeting.
For finishing the event, the minute of agreements of implementation project was signed by both university buildings.
