
One of the institutional buildings that joined Department of Quality Management (DAC, Spanish acronym) and Department of Information Technology (DGI, Spanish abbreviation) to carry out the quality implementation in the UANL, is University Printing Office.
On May 13th, 2011, Printing Office and DGI personnel had a meeting about Kaizen system implementation at the facilities of the building.
The objective of the meeting was to inform the Printing Office personnel about the official beginning of the project as well as showing the activities calendar to the future users of the system.
During the event, several agreements were established by the DGI such as creating Kaizen website to the university building, www.kaizen.uanl.mx/ImprentaUniversitaria as well as @uanl.mx e-mail accounts to the guide team of the institution. Likewise, DGI was committed to carry out Outlook training.
All this combined with Kaizen system training, focused on Documents Controller
-Kaizen Manager- Auditors, Direction Representatives, Improvement Responsible and Processes Owners.
The event was attended by the head of the Secretariat General Department of Quality Management, Ing. Alejandro Aguilar Meraz and at the same time by Ing. Joaquin Huante Hernandez, Academic Services Deputy Director, in representation of DGI Director, Ing. Alberto Zambrano.
The event was also attended by personnel of the University Printing Office such as Carlos Juarez Solis, Maria Guadalupe Muniz Tamez, Gabriela Rendon Esquivel, Sergio Torres Silva, Juan Lucino Gonzalez Gonzalez, Corina Elizabeth Villarreal Elizondo and Erik German Rojas Aragon and the guide team of the institutional building.
For finishing the event, the agreements minute of implementation project was signed by both university buildings.
